Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the AFTER6 platform ("Service") operated by AFTER6 ("Company"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

1. "Service" refers to the amateur sports league and team management platform provided by the Company, including the website (after6.io) and mobile applications.
2. "User" refers to any individual who agrees to these Terms and completes registration.
3. "League Operator" refers to a User who creates and manages a league within the Service.
4. "Club Owner" refers to a User who creates and manages a club (team) within the Service.
5. "Paid Service" refers to premium features offered by the Company for a fee, including league management plans and ad removal.

3. Changes to Terms

1. These Terms are posted on the Service and accessible at all times.
2. The Company may modify these Terms in compliance with applicable laws. Changes will be announced within the Service at least 7 days before taking effect.
3. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you may discontinue use and delete your account. Continued use of the Service after modifications take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

4. Registration

1. Registration is completed when a User agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, submits the registration form, and the Company approves the application.
2. The Company may refuse or revoke registration in the following cases:
   • Using another person's identity or information
   • Providing false information
   • A minor under 14 registering without parental consent
   • A previously suspended or terminated User

5. Services Provided

Free Services

• Club creation and management
• Public club page (roster, schedule, scores, news, media)
• League participation and standings
• Match scheduling and RSVP/attendance
• Game recording and basic player stats

Paid Services

Prices are in USD. Applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) are handled automatically by Lemon Squeezy as Merchant of Record. League plans include a 30-day free trial (no credit card required).

6. Payment and Subscriptions

1. Paid Services are provided on a monthly auto-renewal (subscription) basis.
2. Payments are processed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record and handles all applicable taxes (VAT, GST, Sales Tax) on behalf of the Company.
3. The Company does not store your payment card information. All payment data is handled exclusively by Lemon Squeezy in compliance with PCI DSS standards.
4. Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the Service settings or through Lemon Squeezy's customer portal. Upon cancellation, the Service remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
5. No refunds are issued for the remaining period of a billing cycle already in progress, except as required by applicable law.
6. League plans automatically include a 30-day free trial upon creation. If the user does not subscribe after the trial, the league becomes read-only (no data is deleted). Subscribing at any time re-activates all features immediately.
7. Upon downgrading, existing data is preserved. Features exceeding the new plan's limits (e.g. extra divisions) become read-only.

7. Refund Policy

1. Users may request a full refund within 30 days of the initial payment for a subscription plan, provided the request is submitted to support@after6.io.
2. If the Service is unavailable or materially defective due to the Company's fault, a full refund will be issued for the affected billing period regardless of when the request is made.
3. Refund requests based on change of mind or dissatisfaction submitted after 30 days of payment will not be honored.
4. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record). Processing time is typically 5–10 business days and depends on your original payment method.
5. Refund requests should be sent to support@after6.io with your order confirmation details.

8. User Obligations

Users shall not:

1. Use another person's identity or register false information
2. Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or public morals
3. Interfere with other Users' use of the Service
4. Disrupt the stable operation of the Service (e.g., generating abnormal traffic)
5. Engage in commercial activities through the Service without prior consent from the Company
6. Collect data from the Service through automated means without prior consent from the Company

9. Company Obligations

1. The Company shall make its best efforts to provide the Service continuously and reliably in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
2. The Company shall manage Users' personal information securely in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
3. The Company shall process User complaints and feedback within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Service Interruption and Changes

1. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, equipment replacement, or technical issues, with prior notice when possible.
2. The Company may modify or discontinue all or part of the Service. Users will be notified at least 30 days before service termination.
3. The Company is not obligated to compensate for changes or termination of free Services.

11. Content Rights and Responsibility

1. Copyright of content uploaded by Users (photos, articles, etc.) belongs to the respective User.
2. Users are responsible for ensuring their uploaded content does not infringe on third-party rights.
3. The Company may use User-uploaded content within the Service for operational and promotional purposes.
4. Even after account deletion or content removal, snapshot data included in game records (team names, player names, scores, etc.) is retained for record-keeping purposes.

11-2. Storage and Upload Limits

1. Each plan includes a media storage quota: Club Free 100MB, Club Plus 1GB, League Starter 2GB, League Pro 10GB.
2. When the storage limit is exceeded, new file uploads are blocked. Existing files remain fully accessible for viewing and download.
3. Upon downgrading, existing uploaded files are never deleted. Only new uploads are blocked while over the limit.
4. Users can review and delete files via the Media Management page in the manage dashboard to free up space.
5. For additional storage, contact support@after6.io to arrange a custom quota.

12. AI-Generated Content

1. The Company may provide AI-generated content such as game articles and season reports through the League Pro plan.
2. AI-generated content will be clearly labeled as such.
3. While the Company strives for accuracy, it does not guarantee the complete accuracy of AI-generated content. Narrative descriptions may differ from actual events.
4. Statistical data in season reports is calculated directly from the Service database; AI handles only the narrative writing.

13. Advertising

1. The Company may display advertisements on free Services to support operations.
2. Advertisements are removed from club pages for Users subscribed to the Team Ad-Free plan.
3. The Company will not send commercial advertising emails or messages without User consent.

14. Restriction and Termination

1. The Company may restrict access or terminate a User's account after prior notice if the User violates these Terms.
2. Users may request account deletion at any time through the Service settings.
3. A 90-day grace period applies after account deletion, during which the account can be restored via the recovery page.
4. After 90 days, personal information (name, email, profile photo, etc.) is anonymized. Snapshot data in game records (team names, scores) is retained for record-keeping.
5. Account deletion is restricted while the User owns a club or league. Ownership must be transferred before deletion.

15. Disclaimer

1. The Company is not liable for service disruptions caused by force majeure events (natural disasters, war, telecommunications outages, etc.).
2. The Company is not liable for service issues caused by the User's own actions.
3. The Company is not liable for any expected profits not realized or damages resulting from information obtained through the Service.
4. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of data entered by Users or League Operators (game results, standings, etc.).

16. Dispute Resolution

1. In the event of a dispute between the Company and a User, both parties shall negotiate in good faith to resolve the matter.
2. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be submitted to the court with jurisdiction over the Company's registered address.

17. Miscellaneous

1. Matters not covered by these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and commercial customs.
2. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Supplementary Provision

These Terms are effective as of March 1, 2026.
